Methods of Topographic Survey on Total station

 

First of all set the total station of station point .Level the machine from tripod and from leveling screws .from tripod you will level the machine vertical and from leveling screw you will level the machine horizontal. after completing the process attached the battery and "ON" the total station form green button or power on/off button .When the machine on a window will come that is your first page .
           Coord , Oset ,Shv ,Meas
 this option will seen on the screen. then press any function button the page will change .pressing function key you can change the page .that is station screen image below. Methods of Topographic Survey

when you press Esc button a page will appear with these options .
obs, usb ,data ,cnfg
first of all press cnfg option with help of function key and set it on N,E,Z .this setting can be change in obs condition .

cnfg have unit option like Feet ,meter etc.
After setting of menu go to obs and select the co-ord option and go to occ orientation and Enter the station co-ordinate and then go to Bs-Az option.

Set the horizontal 0 . and record it . this way your station will recorded. in occ orientation you must give instrument point and target point. After that go to observation and record the points.and put the prisim of every point and press obs button and record it. do it for all point after completing the survey copy all data to computer the computer will give you a map with coordinates. you can make the map munual but if you want to make easy your work then do it on computer .
