Types Of Construction Sand Full Explanation .

The sand for constructional works is obtained from different sources.These resource decide the type of sand. Different types of sand are as follows :

Types Of Construction Sand

1. Pit Sand 
2. River Sand 
3. Sea Sand

1.Pit Sand :
this sand is present in the form of natural deposits in the Earth. this is dug out of the earth . this sand is in thick particles and hard . this sand is considered better for constructional work .The biggest deposit of sand is present at Lawrence pur near Attock .This sand is of high quality.This is also know as Harrow sand.

2.River Sand :
Such sand is obtained from the bank or at the bed of a river . this ma be fine or coarse .Coarse sand is considered better for constructional work.The fine sand consists of slay and dust. If at all fine a=sand is to be used in construction work then it is to be wash first before use.

3.Sea Sand ;
This sand is obtain from sea shore. The particles of the sand are round .Many salts are present in the sand sea.These are capable to absorb humidity of air.These are dangerous for construction. If at all this sand is to be used in construction work then it is to be washed first before use.This sand should not be used in R.C.C works . Because steel corrosion is expected in this case and this spoils the buildings.
