In this post i m explaining you requirements of good stairs . A good stair need expert engineer . if you want to design good stair then read this article .A Lot student comment me to do a post on Requirement of good stairs.

TOP 1O REQUIREMENTS OF STAIRS FOR BUILDING

 A good stair has following types
stair must be in middle of building.
Step of stair must be of uniform shape and size.
Width of stairs must be wide enough so that two people can ascend and descend at a time .For this purpose width can be around at least 85 cm.
Slop of stair can be from 25 degree and 40 degrees.
Height of head room should not less than 7 feet.
Height of hand rail from steps should be around from 75 to 90 cm
Number of steps in any series of stairs should not be more than 15 steps and less than 3 steps.
Material used in stairs must be rigid and durable .
Material used in stair must be rough .
Sunlight and air ventilation must be provided in stairs .
Size of stairs must be designed in such manner that no difficulty causes in ascending.

Principles Of Design Of Stair ;-

It is important to Observe while designing any type of stairs that design should be simple enough to  avoid any inconvenience caused but stairs must be comfortable. Despite design must make stairs delicate and adorable .Following principle must be ensured during design of stairs.
