Stair Today i am writing about the Stair Riser Height as you know that last time i published a post about the Requirement Of Good Stair, some of my website viewers comment about to make a guide about Stair Riser Height. So i make a simple and easy post about in which i explain you all about Stair Riser with diagram .

What is Stair Riser Height ?

Stair Riser means Height of the stair step . it is the vertical portion of a step providing a support to the tread.
Here is a lot of type of stair type .
Stair Riser depend on the building type .
if the building is commercial building then you can keep 8.8 inches
and if the building is health care building then you can keep  minimum Riser size . Because in hospital the old man and patient are coming that.s way you can keep the riser size small 5 to 6 inches .Here is another type of building residential building .you can keep the Riser Height in this type of building 8.8 inches.

How Can Find Stair Riser Height ?

Ratio between Tread and Rise .

                 a).    R * T  = 400 to 300 square centimeter
                                     = 66  to 96   square inches
                 b).      2 R  * T  = 55  to 60 centimeters
                                         = 23 to 27 inches
  
Here ,R refers to Riser and T refers to Tread.
It is obvious from these formulas that if value of T decrease then value of R rises or increase and if value of T is increased then it will be mandatory to lessen the value of R .
